L’arte Riparte 1994 - 2007

 

Riparte 13. In Rome, twelve editions of the Contemporary Hotel Art fair that stimulates visitors and galleries.This fair decontestualizes the conventional art presentation – the eccentic location (an hotel room for each gallery) offers an intense and happily precarious scenario.
The 10th edition wanted to celebrate and enlarge its vain of nomadism by creating an art itinerary through time and along the Tiber river: Transport to Riparte, curated by Achille Bonito Oliva.
The show started beneath the Castel Sant’Angelo with the section ContainArt; three huge conatiners contained inastallation by affirmed artists.
In the ground floors of the Ripa All Suite Hotel was the Installation Valigie by Fabio Mauri.

For the 2006 edition Riparte presented Transport to Riparte Volume 2 to continue the imaginary trip in the contemporary art world.
